About Shaykh Waleed Edrees Meneese:

Shaykh Waleed has a Masters Degree in Sharee’ah and is currently working on his Ph.D.  He is presently the Imam of Masjid al-Farouq in Minneapolis, MN, and a professor at AOU.  He has memorized the Qur’an and can read it according to the 10 mutawaatir qiraa’aat.  He has Ijaazahs in the 14 qiraa’aat and most of the books of Sunnah.  Addtionally, has studied under some of the most notable scholars of our times such as late Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Shaykh Abdul Aziz Bin Baz as well as Shaykh Abdul Razzaq Afeefi.  Shaykh Waleed also is a residing expert for the Assembly of Muslim Jurists in America (AMJA), a major body of Muslim scholars in
North America (www.amjaonline.org).

About Dr. Hatem Elhajj

Dr. Hatem is a pediatrician and has a Masters in Sharee'ah from AOU.  He is a previous Imam of Masjid Al-Bir in Astoria, NY.  Presently he resides and practices medicine in Minneapolis, MN and travels frequently delivering Islamic lectures at various Islamic conferences and centers.
